Downtime for Release 2.6.0 was 09/20/2023 from 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM (ET). Downtime is to allow for the new version update to be applied to SmartWare.

Batches
- Changed Warranty EFT payments to be included in the in the Other payment amount on the batch
- Resolved issue where filtering by a territory, then checking the Add check box (the last column), the Add check box would not be checked. This would then prevent the check box from being used to uncheck all the rows.
Payment Finder
- Added additional search criteria options to the payment finder allowing user to search for payments based on the last 4 digits of a credit card number and authorization code.
- Last 4 of CC: Allows users to search for payments based on the last 4 digits of credit card number that was used. Last 4 of CC search will return exact matches only and not partial matches.
- Auth Code: Allows users to search for payments based on authorization code received for payment. Authorization Code search will return exact matches only and not partial matches.
- Added two new columns to the payment finder (results grid):
- Last 4 digits of CC: Displays the last 4 digits of the credit card number associated with a payment. This column provides a quick reference for the credit card used.
- Auth Code: Displays the authorization code associated with a credit card payment. This column provides information about the authorization code linked to each payment.
- When exporting data from the payment finder, the export will now include additional columns to show the 'Last 4 digits of CC' and 'Auth Code'.

Employee List
- The following changes were made to the Employee List (screen) to display more meaningful information at a glance
- Combined Last Name and First Name (columns) into a single Full Name (column): Will display 'Last Name, First Name' for the employee
- Added Username (column): Will display the username associated with the employee
- Added Skills (column): Will display all skills associated with the employee
- Added Primary Phone Number (column): Will display the employee's primary phone number
- Added Primary Email (column): Will display the employee's primary email address
Employee > Logs > Employee Options
- Added new employee option called "MobileAllowCustomTask" to allow toggling the ability for technicians to create a custom task on the iPad
- Below is a list of the different values available for this new employee option:
- True: (Default Value) Will allow Technician to create a customer task from the iPad. By default, this option will be set to true to mimic the current functionality Technician's had prior to this change.

Text Log
- The red "Opt Out" label will no longer be displayed on the Log > Text Log screen for received text messages where the number is flagged as Do Not Text. This change was made because although the customer has opted out of receiving text messages from your office, they can still send messages to the office successfully. Therefore, the red label should not appear in this scenario.
Dashboards
General
- The following buttons have been added to the Owners, Technician and CSR Dashboards: YDay, LWk, and LMonth.
- These new buttons provide convenient shortcuts for quickly navigating to specific time frames, allowing you to efficiently monitor and analyze data within the desired context.
- YDay (Yesterday): This button allows you to quickly set the dashboard dates to yesterday's dates. Clicking on the YDay button will update the dashboard to display data specifically for the previous day.
- LWk (Last Week): Clicking on the LWk button will automatically adjust the dashboard dates to show data for the previous week, starting from Sunday and ending on Saturday. This selection enables you to easily review and analyze weekly performance or trends.
- LMonth (Last Month): The LMonth button simplifies the process of viewing data from the previous month. By selecting this button, the dashboard dates will be automatically adjusted to display information exclusively from the prior month.
- These new buttons provide convenient shortcuts for quickly navigating to specific time frames, allowing you to efficiently monitor and analyze data within the desired context.
CSR

Changes were made to the CSR Dashboard to help provide you with more insight into call data for Call Time and Avg. Call Time (columns). SmartWare now supports the download of call durations, giving you a comprehensive overview of how much time each call takes.

For RingCentral users: There's no need for any additional setup. Call durations will seamlessly and automatically start downloading for all calls after this release.

For Clarity users: If you are using the Clarity phone system, you will need to connect to Clarity to start downloading call durations. Follow these steps to connect:

Go to Setup Franchise -> Setup -> Options -> Phone System Setup.
- Within the Phone System Setup, you will need to enter your Clarity Login Credentials into the Username and Password fields.
- Note: Clarity Login Credentials is the information you use when logging into your Clarity account on the Clarity website.
- Once your credentials are entered, click the 'Connect' (button) to initiate the connection to Clarity. Once connected the 'Connect' button changes to 'Re-Connect'

- Once connected, call durations will automatically begin downloading for all calls after you successfully connect to Clarity and begin integrating into your CSR Dashboard for analysis.

Two Way Text
- The following changes have been made to the Two-Way Text flyout screen to handle phone numbers where customers have opted out of receiving text messages from your office. These changes are as follows:
- When attempting to send a message to a number that is flagged as Do Not Text, a warning message will now be displayed below the Send section of the Two-Way Text flyout screen. This message serves as a reminder that the number is flagged as Do Not Text, and any messages you attempt to send will not go through to the customer.

Cores & Returns
- Editing a part from any of the grids and then closing the part detail screen will now return you back to the Cores and Returns screen. Previously, preforming this action would return you to the Part Search screen instead.

- When adjusting the Base Cost of a User Added part, a message will appear underneath the Base Cost, reminding users to click the "Calc Customer Price" (button) if they want the Customer Price updated based on the new Base Cost.
Global Inventory Search
- Added an 'edit' option next to each Global Inventory Search result returned. Clicking the 'edit' (button) next to each Global Inventory Item will now open an additional panel to the right allowing you to see more information about the Franchisee.
Purchase Order
- The following changes were made to enhance the visibility and tracking of parts in the Cores and Returns module within the Purchase Order. Offices can now easily identify the section a part is in and monitor its status for Cores and Returns through the Purchase Order.
- Purchase Order Parts List (grid): The 'Stock Part' (column) has been replaced with the 'Cores & Returns' (column)
- The new 'Cores & Returns' (column) will indicate the section of the Cores & Return module the PO part is currently located.
- It is important to note that PO Parts will still be highlighted in yellow on the PO Grid, indicating that the part is a Stock Part.
- Purchase Order Detail (screen):
- A new 'Cores & Returns' (field) has been added beneath the Cost (field) in the Purchase Order Detail screen.
- This row provides offices with an easy way to see the status of the PO Part for Cores and Returns.

- Moved the Postal code check from the 'Save' button to when a customer is selected.
- When a customer is selected and the customers postal code is owner by another franchise, the below popup question will appear letting you know the postal code is owned by another franchise.
- CANCEL: No customer is selected on the new work order.
- CONTINUE: The customer is selected on the new work order and a warning that the postal code is owned by another franchise is displayed
- When a customer is selected and the customers postal code is owner by another franchise, the below popup question will appear letting you know the postal code is owned by another franchise.
Task
- Resolved a rare issue that was showing a different labor amount between the task grid and the task detail screen.
- Changed the length of the task description to be 500 characters to match the task description length in the Menu Pricing Guide.
