In SmartWare, you have the option to allow your tech to edit the part price on the iPad or not. To update the setting:
1. Go to Administrative, Employees.
2. Open the Employee record.
3. Go to Employee Options at the bottom of the screen.
4. Open the EnablePartRetailEditing option.
5. To Allow editing of parts, enter 1. To Prevent editing of parts, enter 0.
The tech must do an Office Sync to get the updated setting.
