Version 2.32.0 - Coming 11/20/2025

    Downtime for Release 2.32.0 is 11/19/2025 from 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM (ET).  Downtime is to allow for the new version update to be applied to SmartWare.

    Invoicing

    • Grid column and Excel export changes:
      • Labor Total and Parts Total were added between Action and Sub Total
      • Warranty was changed from a check box to the Warranty Type selected on the work order

    • Fixed an issue that was sometimes make the Process Payment button be disabled.

    • Fixed a rare issue that sometimes when editing a task, the wrong QB Account & Sales Category would be shown.

      Will launch the Rilla website in a separate browser tab.

    • Fixed an issue that sometimes the Install Date on Equipment detail widget was showing one day earlier then the Equipment grid.

    iPad Work Order Sync

    • Fixed an issue where work orders for customers with a large number of past work orders would time out during the work order sync.

    Material

    Cores & Returns

    • If the part return status is 'Defective Part (DOA)' then removed the inventory check and inventory movement.

    Inventory Transfer

    • Added the ability to select the To Shelf when transferring parts.
    • Added the ability to enter the Transfer Quantity instead of having to use the + / - buttons.  
      • NOTE: If you enter an amount greater then what's available in the From Location, the number is changed to the amount the From Location has.  If you enter a number less than 1, that number is then changed to 1.

     

    Reports

    Sales by Postal Code

    • Added a Dispatch Code to the report and all exports (PDF, Word & Excel).

    Tech Adjustments

    • Added a new search criteria, 'Include Warranty'
      • If checked, Warranty work orders will be included.  This is how the report always worked in the past.
      • If unchecked, Warranty work orders will be excluded.
    • Word, Excel & PDF
      • Removed the header rows
      • Added a Total row
    • Custom Tasks
      • If the technician created a custom task on the iPad, this will now be indicated on the report

    Work Order Cancellation

    • Added two new options:
      • 'Group By'
        • Will split the first page summary by employee to see cancellation counts by each employee.

      • 'Page Break' 

        • If Group By employee is selected, will add a page break after employee in the detail pages.

         

     

     

     

     

     

    Setup Franchise

    Setup Franchise: Territories

    • Added a new tab called 'Scheduler'
      • Moved the Overbooking franchise options from the User Defined Values -> Scheduler tab.  This will allow you to set the Overbooking options per territory, instead of for your franchise.
      • Added a 'Same Day Cutoff Time Booking'
        • This new option allows you to set what time overbooking stops. 
        • For example, if you have the cut off time set for 3PM, then after 3PM no new online jobs can be created.

    User Defined Values: Miscellaneous tab

    • Add a new invoice report option that gives the ability to hide the Part #.
      • if checked, the invoice report will show the Part # column, as it always did.  If unchecked, it will hide that column.  NOTE: The default value is checked so the report will look the same as it always did.

    User Defined Values: Mobile Apps tab

    • Added two new options that will allow you display a PDF when the technician goes Active and when they leave.
      • The first thing you must do is go to Setup Franchise -> Options -> Attachments and add them
      • On the Attachments screen, use the + button to add the Arrival and Leaving attachment.
      • Once you successfully add them, you will see them in the Attachments grid.

      • After you added the Arrival and Leaving attachments, go to Setup Franchise -> User Defined Values -> Mobile Apps tab and select those attachments.

    Work Order

    Confirmation -> Text Messages

    • If Two Way Texting is enabled, if a customer selects to Cancel their appointment, instead of cancelling the work order, the following changes have been made:
      • The work order status will be changed to Ready To Schedule
      • A work order Office Alert note will be added stating: 'Work Order Cancel request came in by text message.'
      • A SmartWare Alert will also be added letting you know a customer wanted to cancel a work order so you can reach out to the customer and try to get it rescheduled instead.

    Recordings

    • If your office is using Rilla, then you can view the recordings here.  Click on the recording link and the Rilla website will launch in a new tab allowing you listen to the recording.

    Send Confirmation

    • Added the 'Job Confirmed' column to the Send Confirmation grid so you can see if the job has already been confirmed before sending out confirmation.

    Work Order

    • Fixed an issue that when changing the Address on the work order, the zone and tax authorities were not properly updating.
    • Added the Address 2 value to the Address drop down
